The GSE: An Update

I’m still not sleeping better,

That was a lie.

I was going to write "I’m still not sleeping better, but I am falling asleep faster."  But falling asleep faster is sleeping better, so I can’t really say that I’m stlll not sleeping better.

Let me start again.

I’ve noticed a small improvement in how I sleep. Although I still wake up a million times in the night (and stay awake for awhile each time), I’m finding that I do fall asleep faster than before (read: usually around an hour or so to fall asleep, as opposed to a couple of hours to several hours). This is good news.

But there is another side effect that I wasn’t really expecting: I’m full of beans.

Not literally.

I just have a lot more energy than I did. Which is pretty cool. I promise I’m not doing anything overly constructive with it. 

Further to that, one of my workmates told me that I look "radiant", and that I did yesterday too. (She’s my new favourite coworker).  I’m wondering if it has to do with the GSE… more energy = more radiant and that sort of thing.

Interesting. We’ll see how another weekend of getting up at *shudder* 7 am goes. I’m not really looking forward to it.

What do you classify as a good nights sleep?  Do you have visions of going to bed and falling asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow, and not waking up until the next morning?  Is that the perfect nights sleep?  Maybe it is not for you… maybe you are more like Leoardo da Vinici and sleep for 25 minutes every two hours in a day… just sayin… I am curious as to what your goal is for the GSE.  Sounds like even just these first steps are showing improvements for you.
