Friday's Feast Returns!

I’m out of excuses. I’m in London and relatively (for now) settled in. I have internet at home (sort of). Let the Feast begin!
What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride?

Roller coasters!! I love very fast rides that don’t go in circles.

How do you react in uncomfortable social situations?

I’m not very good at uncomfortable social situations, actually. First and foremost, when I’m uncomfortable, I crack jokes. Not always advisable and rarely appreciated in those circumstances. I often say, "I gotta go", and get.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy discussing deep, philosophical topics?

Oh, probably about a 10. Especially if there is no definite answer. I’m sure other people, if asked, "On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being highest, how much do enjoy discussing deep, philosophical topics with Jodi?", most people would ask why there was no "0" on the scale. Because no matter what I honestly believe, I’m willing to sell out my beliefs for an opposing stance if it means I can argue with you.

Main Course
Did you get a flu shot this year? If not, do you plan to?

HA HA HA! No. I’ve had a flu shot once. I got the flu. I’m not letting them inject me with a disease ever again, even if it is supposed to help.

Approximately how many hours per week do you spend watching television?

For the longest time, I would say "zero", especially over the last few months. But the last few weeks have been spent in front of the tv with various friends (in various countries) and it has been glorious. I actually missed some of the mind-numbing crap that’s on the telly. It is especially cool now that I understand everything that’s on it…

Updates A'Comin'

I promise that it is NOT my intention to stop blogging now that I’ve left Korea. Surely life will be just as strange and interesting in another country, on another continent?  I just haven’t had the… energy to get down to it yet. I have about 60 pages or so of notes that I need to transcribe, from the time before I got to Malaysia to the time I was in Moscow. I have to type those out, and add the notes that I was too lazy to write down. And, of course, I need to add everything that has happened since Moscow… there have been a multitude of countries and people and events since Russia. I will start soon. And I will blog again regularly, soon. I promise. Soon.  For now, I’m safe and happy in Scotland and will be headed back to London on Saturday. Once I get there, I can blog about how scared I am about the next part of my life. Somehow, traveling all over the damned place is far less frightening than the prospect of settling into a job and everyday life again. I suspect there may be something seriously wrong with me.
