Friday's Feast

Oops. I do realize that tomorrow is Friday and that I’m nearly a week late with this thing. I was tempted to simply let it go – but I’ve been trying to be good. Besides, there’s going to be a huge cap in my blog soon while I’m traveling anyway so I really wanted to try to keep up, best that I can.  Here it goes, a week late…
Say there’s a book written about your life. Who would you want to narrate the audio version?
I would love Eddie Vedder (lead singer of Pearl Jam) to narrate my life. He would make my life sound dead sexy.

Take the letters from your favorite kind of nut and write a sentence. (Example: Perhaps every avenue needs understanding today.)

My favorite NUT?  Ummmm…

But really, even nice dirges are nasty. (Especially when sung by this particular nut!)

If you could go back in time and spend one week in another decade, which decade would you choose?

Probably the second decade. I wanna know what Christ was up to in his twenties and ask him some questions.

Main Course
Name a song that brings back memories for you.

There are far too many songs that bring back memories (good and bad) for me to think of just one important one. Some are unfortunate – like "Give it Away" reminds me of the car accident with Carey (and the little man on the widow); "Crocodile Rock" makes me think of Brendan and Britstick (HA!)… some are just funny – like "Do the Bartman" reminds me of making up a dance in Raielle’s living room in junior high (we were SO GOOD); "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)"  will always remind me of driving to my early-morning (read: 8:00 am) Canadian Theatre History course with my roommate Terry (who used to bribe me to get out of bed with coffee and toast, and when I was grumpy on the way to school – so every time – she would play that song and say it was "our song". Then she would sing it to me and make me laugh).

Do you prefer to wash your hands in cold water or warm water?

Who the stink washes their hands in cold water? Idiots.

  1. For a brief second, I really thought you had mis-spelled Brazil, as in, Brazil nut.
    Sweet answer.
