I scammed the Friday Feast idea from Brendan (there’s your credit, boyo)… it seems like a good way to make sure that I blog at least once a week.
If you could have a free subscription to any magazine, which one would you like to have?
Any music magazine that came with a free CD. Edit: Any ENGLISH music mag.
Soup – Describe your living room (furnishings, colors, etc.).
My living room is also my bedroom (welcome to Korea), but at least it is no longer also my kitchen. I have a wardrobe, mirror, brown leather couch (styling!), TV and VCR, my double (whoo-hoo!) bed, and a bedside table. There are scarves from Cambodia on my mirror and hiding the A/C box. There are two rubbings from Angkor Wat on the wall. My guitar is in here, and so is the work I’m supposed to be doing over the weekend. I have my rice-paper-ball-hangy lamp so I don’t have to turn on the effing overhead light. The wallpaper has been ripped off the one wall and it is now ghetto-grey cement. I have some pics of BC on the wall. I really love my new place… but looking around the room, the dominant colour is… ugh. Beige. Bleh!
Salad – What does the shape of a circle make you think of?
The condensation ring left on a table from a frosty brew.
Actually… my first thought was "the sun", but that makes me sound like I’m six fucking years old (hanging out with the kinders is getting to me) so I changed my answer so I could sound cool.
Main Course – Name 3 things in your life that you consider to be absolute necessities.
The internet (nerd alert), food, and love.
HA HA HA! Did you really think I would put "love" as the third thing?!? I hope that everyone who knows me knows me well enough to realize that I would definitely put "days off from work", beer, oxygen, and squirrels before love.
Dessert – What was the last really funny movie you watched?
I watched "A Life Less Ordinary" a couple of nights ago… which is funny but not "really funny". I would have to say the last one that made me really, really laugh… and was a proper "movie" and not "some weirdo’s clip on YouTube"… would have to be "Happy Gilmore". It was on TV just before vacation. Classic Sandler.
